Fireglass Direct are pleased to have been involved with the recent redevelopment of The Ravenhill Stadium.
Ravenhill Rugby Ground, which is owned by the Irish Rugby Football Union, is located in South East Belfast and houses the administration centre for the game of rugby football in the province of Ulster.
Construction work will be complete by the summer of 2014. Three new stands will be built at the ground in a phased approach that will see capacity rise from 11,400 to 18,000.
The redeveloped Ravenhill when all phases are completed, will meet the requirements for staging a Pro12 final or Heineken Cup quarter-final and it will also become the Ulster squad's new training base with a gym and meeting rooms, changing and treatment rooms, an indoor training surface and media facilities.
The main contract is being looked after by Gilbert Ash Ni Ltd, with the work package for Fireglass Direct included glazed screens and mirrors into the changing rooms and basement gym areas. The contract was complete on time and to budget. Fireglass Direct have had a long and successful working relationship with Gilbert Ash, with projects in many sectors, including the Hotel & Leisure sector, the Healthcare Sector and the Commercial & Retail Sectors.
