Project Description

Opened in 1960, Altnagelvin Hospital was the first general hospital to be built in the UK after the Second World War. Since then, there have been a number of renovations and refurbishments completed on the hospital.

2020 saw the completion of the new North Wing facility, comprising six new impatient ward areas and a new main entrance to the hospital.

Our team were brought on board in the early stages of this project to help design specialist glazing throughout the hospital.

With the privacy and comfort of both the hospitals patients and staff considered, we designed and installed bespoke integrated blind panels into glazed doors and screens.

We also supplied and installed fire-rate atrium screens and were delighted with how everything turned out.
